Description: The Mary Ann Hale Collection consists of many old black and white photographs Mary Ann found in the house she purchased at 224 Harbor Drive. This and an abutting property belonged to Samuel S. Torrey, then passed to Maynard V. Torrey. The Torrey family inter-married with the Allan L.Black family, and both lines owned 2 homes here for many years and were an active part of the community. Pictures are of friends and relatives of both families. Mary Ann purchased the house from Grace Maillet and donated most of the photos she found to THS.
